Long Room Library – Trinity College

The main chamber of the Old Library is the Long Room; at nearly 215 feet in length, it is filled with 200,000 of the Library’s oldest books and is one of the most impressive libraries in the world.

The Trinity College harp is the national symbol of Ireland, being depicted on national heraldry, Euro coins and Irish currency and also on the Guinness beer label. It was made in the 15th century.
