The Channel Tunnel also known as Chunnel, is a 31.4 mi undersea rail tunnel linking the United Kingdom and France, running beneath the English Channel. It is the second longest undersea tunnel in the world. The Chunnel has been identified as one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World.

The Musée de l’Armée is a museum at Les Invalides in Paris, France. Originally built as a hospital and home for disabled soldiers by Louis XIV, it now houses the Tomb of Napoleon and the museum of the Army of France

The Thinker is a bronze and marble sculpture by Auguste Rodin held in the Musée Rodin in Paris. It depicts a man in sober meditation battling with a powerful internal struggle. It is often used to represent philosophy.

The Pere Lachaise Cemetery is the most visited cemetery in the world. Over 800,000 souls are buried here and besides Jim Morrison (American singer and songwriter with The Doors), there are many other famous residents include Chopin, Moliere, Edith Piaf, Rossini and Oscar Wilde

The Place de la Concorde is one of the major public squares in Paris.  It is located at the eastern end of the Champs-Elysées. It was the site of many notable public executions, including the execution of King Louis XVI, during the French Revolution.
